Andrew started growing corn and soybean test plots at the age of 15 in FFA. Andrew and Katie met through FFA.

His passion for agriculture drove him to complete a degree in Agricultural Systems Technology with minors in Ag Business and Ag Marketing at South Dakota State University.

Andrew’s first seed business was launched in 2015. His passion for agronomy and innovation led to the expansion of the results-driven, diversified agronomy solutions company it is today.

Andrew and Katie got married in 2017 and have two sons – Chandler and Beau. The whole family is involved in the business.

In 2025, we are celebrating 10 years of AK Ag! We love being able to share our love of agronomy through our family business and getting to expand.

In our 10th year of business, we are excited to add Wyatt Hansen to the team!

My name is Wyatt Hanson, and I’m proud to be part of the team at AK AG LLC as a seed salesman. I grew up in Hugo, Minnesota, where I developed a strong connection to agriculture. I attended Mahtomedi High School and went on to earn my degree in Agricultural Systems Technology (AST) from South Dakota State University.

During my time at SDSU, I gained a deep appreciation for the science and innovation behind modern agriculture, as well as the importance of building strong relationships with growers. I’m passionate about helping farmers succeed by providing them with the right products, knowledge, and support to make the most of every acre.

I’m excited to bring my background, education, and commitment to service to AK AG LLC and the producers we work with every day.
